Nigeria’s legendary artist 2Face Baba is trending again, after his mother Mrs. Rose Idibia asked his new girlfriend Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru to leave her son alone.
In a viral on Friday, February 14, she asked the lawmaker to release his son, as he is currently going through a divorce process, calling on mothers in Nigeria to help her get her son back.
“Good evening Nigerians, my name is Mrs. Rose Idibia, this message is for Ms. Natasha Osawaru of Edo State. I’m calling on all mothers in Nigeria to help me beg her to release or free my son, my son is going through a divorce process,” she pleaded.
According to her, 2Face Baba is not in his right state of mind, caused by the divorce process, saying she perfectly understand his son when things are going well. She further asked the lawmaker to uncuff his son from the beads on the artist’s neck and hands.
“He is not in his right senses, I know my son this is not him please Natasha the bead you put on his hand and neck, remove it and free him,” she further pleaded.
Her pleas come barely a day, when a viral clip of 2Face Baba proposing to Osawaru surfaced online on Thursday, February 13, when he sked the 31-year-old law maker to marry him.
In January, 2Face Baba announce through his Instagram page, of their divorce with actress Annie Macaulay Idibia, at a time when she was experiencing a backlash from her released series Young Famous and African.
Annie who is yet to say a word about the divorce, was rumored to be hospitalized in a rehabilitation center in Nigeria.
Her colleagues including fellow casts like Zari Hassan, Luis Munana, Swanky Jerry, Khanyi Mbau and Nigeria movie director and actress Mary Njoku, defended her from ’embarrassing’ moment from her husband.
