Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has sent a message to Gen Zs, following outrageous activist Kasmuel McOure meeting with President William Ruto.
McOure met the President in Ainabkoi constituency in Uasin Gishu during the opening of a new church Sanctuary at AIC Kipkorgot.
While applauding the activist, Cherargei informed Gen Zs that their no tribe and leaderless narrative will have no ground, noting that politics need strategy since it is a game of interests and has no enmity.
“To Genz what do you learn from this picture? Your mantra of tribeless, leaderless, agendaless and directionless will not work. Be strategic ! Politics is about interests, there is no enmity,” he highlighted.
The Senator went further urging the youths to support President William Ruto to realize their dreams that they fought for, during the June-August, 2024 protests, that criticised the Finance Bill, 2023.
“Work with government of HE Ruto to push for what you championed for,” urged Cherargei.
During the event, McOure met with various leaders including Uasin Gishu Governor H.E Jonathan Bii, Kapseret MP, Hon. Oscar Sudi, among other politicians.
However, Kenyans led by activist Morara Kebaso have criticised McOure as a sell out, for meeting the President, after he met Raila Odinga and joined the ODM party some months ago. Activist Kebaso did not take the meeting lightly, decrying how those McOure met are the same faces who allegedly killed Gen Zs during their protests. Kebaso noted that McOure has been bought.
“My God. Kasmuel Why? Whhhhyyyy? Aren’t these the same people who killed GenZs in cold blood and benefited from it. Why? Is it money? Si ungeanza any biz we support you? Kasmuel McOure you have hurt Kenyans who believed in you in a way that you will never ever imagine,” complained Kebaso.
