Mamboleo Stadium and Moi Stadium will be serving as the host stadiums for this year’s inaugural Super 8 Annual Tournament. The tournament which is set to take place from January 31 to February 2, 2025 will bring together best 8 schools in soccer across various regions of the country.
Western region will be having 2 representatives where Bukembe High School and the record Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) National Champions Kakamega School will all be looking forward to sharpen their squads in preparation for this year’s KSSA Championship.
The National KSSSA defending champions Highway Secondary from Nairobi region and the 2023 KSSSA champions St Anthony’s Kitale will also be participating in the competition giving all signs of a promising and thrilling tournament to come.
The teams have been split in 2 groups with each group having 4 teams to face each other for the group stage.
Highway Secondary School will be facing Western giants Kakamega School, Ongata Academy from Rift Valley and Ringa Boys from Nyanza in Group A.
Group B which has been termed as ‘group of death’ will see St Anthony Boys Kitale battle against Bukembe High School from Western while Ambira Boys will face Kisumu Day—both from Nyanza region.
As the set dates for the most anticipated tournament in the country nears, the competition is expected to serve as preparation for the term 2 Kenya Secondary Schools soccer games.
Kenyan football fanatics will be craving for quality and entertaining football action at the Lakeside as the next champion of the tournament awaits.
