Kisumu Set for WAN E YO Art Exhibition at Kisumu Museum

County Government of Kisumu in conjunction DERO and the Kisumu Museum is set to hold a one month exhibition dubbed WAN E YO! meaning ‘on our way’ scheduled from March 21,2025 till April 21,2025 at the Kisumu Museum.

In a poster made by Governor Anyang Nyong’o on Facebook,on the March 11,2025 art enthusiasts and Kisumu people have been urged to turn up and experience the vibrancy of African creativity at WAN E YO which is an extraordinary art exhibition celebrating culture, storytelling, and innovation.

The event will feature 40 visionary artists from Kenya and Uganda, showcasing and highlighting the depth and diversity of Kisumu’s artistic landscape.

This Art Exhibition , designed by Santana Sino and David Mito, in collaboration with DER4, Kisumu Museum, and Kamera Arts Development (KAD), aims to position Kisumu City as a dynamic hub for art and culture.

Governor Nyong’o while confirming the event, urged residents to come immerse themselves in breathtaking visual art, thought-provoking discussions, and an inspiring atmosphere that reflects the city’s thriving creative pulse.
