Vihiga Queens gave Wadadia FC a humble 5-0 beating in the FKF women premier league match played on Sunday, December 22, 2024, that saw them close gap on Kibera soccer women to a 1 point difference, after game week 10.

2 goals from Diana Otieno and a goal from Susan Muhonja, Ruth Khasoah and Maureen Ater each, secured all the 3 points for Vihiga Queens helping them move to the second position of the table with 20 points, behind the league holders, Kibera soccer women while Kenya Police Bullets FC sits third with a game in hand.

Elsewhere Kisumu All Starlets FC shined in the Kisumu derby after a 2-0 win against Kisped Queens. Goals from Nyambok and Atieno were enough for the visitors to secure an important win in the hotly contested Kisumu derby women’s football. Kisumu All Starlets  now sit 8th in the table above Kisped Queens with a game in hand to play.

After registering their first win of the season last weekend with a 2-1 win against Mombasa Olympic at home, Bunyore Starlets lost 2-0 to Ulinzi Starlets on Wednesday in an eye catching match played at Mumboha stadium in Luanda.

Bunyore Starlets are now second last in the FKF Women premier league standing with 6 points having played 10 games. Wadadia FC sits at the bottom of the table with only 4 points having also played 10 games.

As the league continues to take shape, high competition is expected between the top 5 teams as each team eyes to secure this year’s championship.
