Sacked Posta Rangers Coach Promises a Storming Comeback Shortly after His Dismissal

Benard Kawizi, the immediate Posta Rangers head coach on Saturday 4, January 2025, promised to make a major comeback shortly after he was dismissed from the club.

Speaking to one of the local media stations, Kawinzi confirmed his departure from Posta terming it as the best decision for the struggling club.

“It’s sort of true I have parted ways with the club,though I’m still on contract.I think that’s the best decision for the club, ” he said.

Kawinzi has played down his retirement from football anytime soon saying that he is ready for the next chapter and wishing Posta all the best. He also admitted the need for changes at Posta following the poor results.

“I am not done with football yet, maybe I will take some time off and see what’s next, but I’m sure I will be back,” he added.

The last 2 fixtures of Benard Kawinzi incharge saw Posta FC lose 1-0 to Murang’a seals and 3-1 to Tusker FC leading to his dismissal early today.

Kawinzi a CAF A license holder failed to lead the rangers to glory with only 2 wins and 5 draws losing 7 games after Matchday 14.

With matchday 15 games resumption dates yet to be announced,Posta will look to replace Kawinzi in their efforts to avoid the relegation axe.The Fkf premier league had been postponed for matchweek 15 following appointment of new federation officials who are yet to announce the resumption dates.

Kawinzi had been promoted to the head coach position after dismissal of Coach John Kamau in early April 2024 following a poor start of the current season.Having played 14 games,Posta sits last of the Fkf premier league with 11 points, 2 behind Ulinzi and 3 behind Bidco who are all trailing in the relegation zone.

Posta Rangers FC currently at the bottom of the Fkf premier league has parted ways with head coach Bernard Kawinzi after a run of poor results registered during his short tenure as the head coach of the club.

Kawinzi becomes the first coach across all football leagues in the world to be dismissed in 2025.
