Vocal Saboti Lawmaker Caleb Amisi, has responded to President William Ruto remarks towards Orange Democratic Movement Party (ODM), Secretary General Edwin Sifuna in  Siaya County in front of their party Leader Raila Odinga.

According to Amisi, there is a problem for Ruto to boldly lecture Sifuna, and warns him of facing a disciplinary action after a meeting, as he is a founding member of ODM.

“William Ruto is now lecturing ODM SG Edwin Sifuna in front of #Raila and threatening to call NDC to remove him. Wonders will never cease. “Kuna shida mahali!” There is going to be weeping and gnashing of teeth,” Amisi stated.

Amisi further said he foresees bad times ahead, when an outsider boldly lectures a senior party official publicly.

Speaking during the burial of Raila’s longest serving aide, Sifuna hit out to president Ruto for bring troubles to himself, citing the recent actions by the police witnessed in Nakuru, that saw police teargas the students after declining to perform their controversial play ‘Echoes of War’, scripted by former Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala.

“The bishop has stated that your work is difficult, I agree with him, I ask myself how do you sleep, kuna zingine Waswahili wanasema mwiba wakujidunga hauwambiwii pole, Kuna watu kwa serikali yako, kazi yao nikushika handball, sasa kama hii ya Nakuru watoto wanakatazwa kufanya mchezo, wanarushiwa teargas, hii ni mwiba wa kujidunga! Wanafanya kazi yako inakuwa ngumu zaidi, read them the riot act!” Sifuna said.

After the Joint-Framework MOU between ODM and UDA, a section of ODM members including Siaya governor James Orengo, Babu Owino and Sifuna, have remained adamant on their political stand, and on constant occasions have not failed to criticize the Kenya Kwanza government failures.
