Kogalo’s New Coach Sinisa  Mihic Promises to Reclaim the Club’s Glory

The newly appointed Gormahia headcoach Sinisa Mihic has promised to reclaim glory for the 21-times Kenya premier league champions.

Speaking a few hours after his unveiling by the club,the 48- years old Croatian acknowledged the reputation of Gor Mahia not only in the country but in Africa at large adding that he is set to deliver the best for the club and Kogalo fraternity.

“I’m very happy to join “The Green Army” .Not many clubs in Africa have the same reputation as Gor and I will give the best for myself,for the club and for the fans.Gor Mahia is one of the best teams in East Africa,” said Sinisa.

Taking to their social media accounts, Gormahia confirmed the appointment of Sinisa Mihic marking the end of stint for Zedekiah Otieno who will now be serving as the Assistant coach alongside Michael Nam.

“We are pleased to announce Sinisa Mihic from Croatia as our new headcoach;to be assisted by Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno and Michael Nam,” announced Gormahia on their social media accounts.

Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno has been serving as the Kogalo headcoach on interim basis since November 13 2024, after Leonardo Neiva was sacked following a ran of poor results.

Sinisa Mihic is an experienced coach with a UEFA Pro License having guided a number of clubs including Al Merrikh SC of Sudan,Al-Nasr SC of Libya and Al Ahli Saudi FC from Saudi Arabia.

Before joining Gormahia,he served as an assistant manager at Al Samiyah SC for only 16 Days from February 12 to February 28,2022.The club takes part in the Kuwaiti Premier League.

The first assignment for Mihic will be to guide Kogalo defend their championship successfully.The defending champions are currently sitting in the 3rd position after 18 matches having armassed 31 points,6 behind Tusker and Police FC who are tied at the top with 37 points each having played 19 matches.
