KEPSHA Chairman Dies in A Fatal Road Accident

Kenya Primary Schools Heads Association National Treasurer Kennedy kyeva has confirmed the passing on of it’s National Chairman Mr. Johnson Nzioka who was reported to have been killed yesterday February 16,2025 in a fatal road accident in Athi River along Mombasa Road.

Until his untimely demise Nzioka served as the head teacher at Donholm Primary School in Nairobi and a prominent advocate for educational reforms.

Prior to his national chairmanship Mr. Johnson was a long serving teacher and administrator.
He has served as KEPSHA Nairobi chairman and KNUT -BEC representing Kepsha in the union from 2016-2021.

President William Ruto has eulogised Mr.Johnson as a distinguished educationist who advocated for the welfare of head teachers in the country.

“Johnson Nzioka was a distinguished educationist who advocated for the welfare of head teachers in our country,” he said.

Ruto further acknowledged Nzioka’s visionary and devotion in grooming upright and industrious students.

“He was visionary and devoted his time in grooming upright and industrious students,” he stated.

The death of the Kepsha chairman is a blow to the primary schools heads and the education sector as a whole.
