Kenyans have expressed mixed reactions following President William Ruto’s changes to his cabinet and executive.
A section of Kenyans feeling betrayed by Kenya Kwanza Government, while not shocked with the news, following the Ichaweri meeting two weeks ago.
In a statement released on Thursday, December 19, former president Uhuru Kenyatta allies have been selected to head ministries, close to heart of the BETA.
Following the changes and reshuffles, Kenyans have expressed mixed reactions on the latest developments in the Kenya Kwanza administration.
Some of the reactions include;
The appointment of Uhuru’s and Raila’s people in Ruto’s government is good news. The political thugs are now in the same boat,” Boniface Mwangi political activist.
Former president Uhuru Kenyatta has brought his A-team to push the perennial opposition politicians’ back to the opposition. Baba is idealistic and wanted face of kenya. Baba wants Kenya as he has imagined it. It exists in an ideal world. Everyone else is selfishly tribal,” Kileleshwa MCA Rober Alai.

“Enyewe Kenya belongs to only two tribes,”Narok senator Ledama Olekina.
“Even if President William Ruto reshuffles his cabinet a million times, he will not deliver anything to Kenyans! Kuanguka lazima ataanguka,” Solomon Kimani.
“Birds of the same feathers flock together. May the wind now blow hard,” Roselyne Akombe, former IEBC commissioner.
“Thank you Mr. President. You are a good man. Thank you for Kindiki, Kagwe, Kabogo, Kinyanjui. The 4K Club of Mt. Kenya,” Moses Kuria.
However, none of the key opposition leaders including Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, DAP-K Eugene Wamalwa and Martha Karua NARC-Kenya, have commented on the new faces in cabinet.
Others affected by the move are CSs ICT Margaret Nyambura, appointed as High Commission Ghana and Agriculture Andrew Karanja appointed Ambassador for Brazil.
Sports CS Kipchumba Murkomen has been moved to Interior, while his counterpart Salim Muvrya taking his spot, from ministry of trade.
