Deputy Governor of Kakamega Ayub Savula has ridiculed former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua following his visit to Western Kenya. Savula has claimed that Gachagua is infiltrating divisive politics in the region.

Gachagua who was interviewed by various media houses in the region proceeded and accompanied former Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala during the Cleo Malala tournament finals yesterday.

Ayub Savula asserted that Kakamega county will not be part of Rigathi Gachagua tribal and divisive stance of dividing Kenyans, urging that the former DP should be arrested for propagating hate.

“His entire language in today was stinking of tribal bigotry and division. @rigathi must be arrested for preaching hate to Kenyans. Shame on you @Cleophasmalala for inviting him,” said Ayub Savula.

He went further slamming Gachagua for picking Malala in his bid to rekindle his political light, which he does best by insulting President William Ruto and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. He termed Malala a political reject, who has been repudiated in Western Kenya.

“Very unfortunate that Rigathi Gachagua picks on Political rejects of western Kenya, to come to Kakamega to insult @WilliamsRuto and @RailaOdinga,” added the DG.

Savula confirmed that the region cannot and will never follow such leaders to redeem their political careers and use them for selfish political gain.

He expressed his disappointments seeing Gachagua, who was impeached due to his continued divisive politics extend the same to the people of Kakamega.
