Former President of the Law Society of Kenya, Mr. Nelson Havi has exposed Dr. Miguna Miguna in a recent war of words, going on in social media.
Havi claimed that revolutionist and KMM advocate Dr. Miguna Miguna turned rogue to the administration of President William Ruto after the President failed to appoint him as a public officer.
Havi also confirmed that besides appealing for the public office post, Miguna Miguna asked for handouts from Ruto, resorting him to seek help from Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi and Deputy Chief of Staff in the Executive Office of the President, Hon. Eliud Owalo, the then Cabinet Secretary of Information, Communication and Digital Economy.
“Get this right, Miguna Miguna. I was headhunted to lead serious legal battles on behalf of then DP William Ruto. On the other hand, you went afterwards begging for handouts and an appointment to public office through Eliud Owalo and Oscar Sudi. You turned rogue on failing,” exposed Havi.
Havi went further exposing events before President William Ruto became the president of the Republic of Kenya. He said that Miguna Miguna and Akech Migai wanted handouts in order help Ruto fight against the controversial Building Bridges Initiative (BBI). Migai, however has refuted these claims.
“Before August, 2022, most of these bottom feeding trolls like Miguna Miguna and Akech Migai sought then Deputy President William Ruto for handouts at night. I went in broad daylight and led, pro bono, the onslaught against BBI amongst many other documented legal battles,” revealed Havi.
Lawyer Migai while defending himself said that he could not work for Ruto for whatever reasons, adding that he only joined BBI case in light to make clarity.
He said, ”This is not true. I would never work for Ruto. I joined BBI case coz of petitioners’ wrong reading of the history of the making of the 2010 Constitution. The Supreme Court adopted all the arguments in my amicus brief, which I am very proud of.”
Miguna Miguna, who returned back to Canada after jetting back in the country in 2022, has been criticising the leadership of President William Ruto.
When he came back from exile, Kenyans thought he would join the Kenya Kwanza Government. However, his stay in the country did not yield anything, expelling him to jet back to Canada silently.
