Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has exposed a police officer who is monitoring his movements. In his revelation, Gachagua urged the National Intelligence Service (NIS) to find something useful that the officer can do and leave him alone.
“National Intelligence Service, please deploy this vehicle and this officer to do some useful work to enhance our security as a Nation,” urged Gachagua.
The ex DP claimed that the officer followed them all the way from Nairobi to Makueni, where he attended the burial of Agnes Mwikali Muiya, the mother of Bishop Dr. Francis Mulinge who is the National Chairman of United Clergy Alliance.
“It was pointless to waste fuel and man hours having him follow us all the way from Nairobi to Makueni yesterday,” added the leader.

Gachagua decried of public funds being wasted for petty issues, while urging the NIS to make good use of public funds. He confirmed that the officer was on a mission to record his utterances and send to NIS.
“It would save public funds to detail your officers in Makueni to listen to what am saying, record and send to you instead of wasting public funds,” added Gachagua.
This is not the first time Gachagua has complained of being targeted by the Government. Last month he claimed that unmarked vehicles had been trailing him in an attempt to monitor his movements, while observing who visits his residences in Nairobi and Nyeri.
During the burial, Gachagua hinted on forming a political party with Wiper party leader, Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka in a move to unseat President William Ruto, come 2027. Gachagua noted that he is on a bid to stop lies that the Kenya Kwanza Government has been spreading in the country.
