Meg Whitman, the United States Ambassador to Kenya, has announced her resignation from her position.
She shared her decision to step down on Wednesday, November 13, following Donald Trump’s victory as the 47th President of the United States in the 2024 elections.
Sharing In a statement ,Whitman informed her team at the US Embassy in Nairobi, saying,
“Today, I informed my team at the U.S. embassy that I submitted my resignation to President Biden. Serving the American people and strengthening our partnership with Kenya has been an honor and privilege.”
