Health Cabinet Secretary (CS) Aden Duale blasted and refuted claims by former public service CS Justin Muturi remarks that he was always hanging around State House as an act of envy.
According to Duale, there is no crime hanging around State House, as it is the center of power, as it is every Kenyan dream to hang around power, and he should not be envious of him.
“What is wrong if I hang around State House? It is the seat of power, is there a crime? If he didn’t have the privilege of hanging around State House, he shouldn’t be envious of me hanging around State House. I’m sure every Kenyan the best place to hang is at the seat of power!” Duale stated.
Speaking with Citizen TV, he further said that if he had the opportunity, he would hesitate to do it, as it will give him a peaceful night after work and hanging around the country’s most protected area.
“That was so cheap, if I had the opportunity to hang around State House, I will go and sleep very well, he should not be envious. That is very pedestrian, I want leaders to tell the country something that is digestible. Aden Duale is hanging around State House so what?” He questioned.
According to Duale, there are many people with different roles at State House, including Farouk Kibet and Dennis Itumbi, he was shocked when Muturi picked on him.
“State House has many players, I don’t know why he picked on me, he should have asked me how to hang around State House,” Duale hilariously stated.
In his series of exposé, Muturi claimed that that he witnessed Duale shouting and scolding former CSs who had visited the former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua at his then Karen without his consent.
The ousted CS, made allegations that could have led to his clash with President William Ruto and his close associates who called for his resignation, with CS Kipchumba Murkomen asking the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to arrest Muturi.
