Donald Trump was sworn in as the United States 47th President at Capitol Rotunda, on Monday, following reports of bad weather.

Trump resumes his second term, taking office from the 46th President Joe Biden from Democratic, making his political comeback after four years of White House.

In what is terming his new term as the golden age in his inauguration speech, Trump promised the return of the great America, following a ‘four year crisis’, he said the golden historic age for America begins.

Kenyans could not miss a moment following his priorities to regain the lost glory of America, among them include declaring national border emergency to address illegal immigration, restoring freedom of speech by ending state censorship and recognition of only two genders male and female.

Here are some of the reactions by Kenyans:

“Joe Biden and Kamala Harris sit helplessly and powerless as president Donald Trump declares his intentions to reverse all their policies from the past four years,” Cyprian is Nyakundi.

“I will ban all government censorships and promote free speech Kabogo Ulisema utaregulate nini,” Book Ten.

“Gladys Wanga, Susan Kihika and Anne Waiguru, we are very sorry. Rn you could be taking selfies in White House but didn’t happen as per your wishes,”Kibet_Bull.

“By the end of today American govt will only recognize two genders; Male and female. Transgender must be having panic attacks by now, they are about to be slapped back to reality. The gender you were assigned at birth is what will be recognized,” Eve Maina.

Trump’s other declaration that threatens relations in Africa include America pulling out of the 2025 Paris- Climate Agreement, which seeks to avert worst impacts of the climate crisis. Former president had rejoined the agreement in 2021.
