Wiper Democratic Movement party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has continued to attack President William Ruto over controversial abduction claims, that have rooted in the country.
Kalonzo speaking at SKM command centre, intensified his fight against the Kenya Kwanza Government which he claims has gone astray in aligning with the Constitution, asserting that it is conducting illegal and criminal activities.
“The Kenya Kwanza regime has established command and control structures outside of the Constitution of the republic of Kenya carrying out illegal and criminal activities against Kenyans,” said Kalonzo.
This comes a day after Cabinet Secretary for Public Service Justin Muturi exposed the National Intelligence Service (NIS) over abducting Kenyans and keeping them hostage. Kalonzo in this regard, called Ruto the Commander in Chief of the abduction squads, that have been kidnapping Kenyans, leading to massive public outcry.
“As we have previously stated, William Ruto is the Commander-in-Chief of the Abduction Squads. This has been clearly demonstrated by his own public pronouncements on the abductions, as well as those of his conceited cronies in government,” Kalonzo continued.
The leader also expelled Dadaab Member of Parliament Farah Maalim from the opposition political outfit following his recent utterances, that violently attacked the Kenyan youths while defending Ruto, as abductions continue.
“Hon. Farah Maalim stands expelled as the Deputy Party Leader of Wiper for violating the rights of Kenyans,” Kalonzo stated at the presser.
Kalonzo recounted how he supported Malim during 2022 general polls that made him clinch the seat, yet he turns his back and supports the president.
“He used to be a reformist and I campaigned for him in Dadaab…it’s heavy on my heart that he can say such utterances,” the Wiper narrated.
The MP in a recent event, claimed that Ruto will remain the President until he finishes his term and secure another until 2032, while assaulting the youths for criticising the president.
“When you see everything progressing and then some fools say ‘Kasongo Ruto must go.’ To hell with those who say that! Is he sitting in your mother’s or father’s seat? He is sitting in our seat, and we will re-elect him; we will deliver 99% or even 100%. We are saying Ruto will stay until 2032,” Maalim asserted.
This is not the first time the MP has defended Ruto. When GenZ staged protests in July last year, he assaulted them, claiming that he would have slaughtered them if he was the President, criticising their move to reject the Finance Bill 2024.
“God forbid if I was president I would have slaughtered them, 5,000 of them daily. Serious, there is no two ways about it,” he said.
