The Directorate of Criminal Investigations is seeking Kenyans’ help in arresting a suspected murderer who is on the run after allegedly killing Ms. Seth Nyakio Njeri on October 10, 2024 in Thika town.
“The young man appearing on the photo below is the prime suspect in the murder of miss Seth Nyakio Njeri, whose body was found at her friend’s house at Biafra Estate within Thika township on October 10, 2024,” reported DCI.
The murder suspect according to DCI identified as Ken Kimathi Gichunuku alias Sultan is said to have gone into hiding after commiting the heinous act, compelling the detectives for his hunt.
DCI also warned the public that the suspect might be dangerous, citing his criminal records.
“Notably, Gichunuku has a criminal record of threatening to kill as evidenced in a September 25, 2024 court case, and detectives are considering him dangerous to anyone he deems might expose him,” DCI noted.
For anyone who might have any information that might assist detectives in arresting the suspect, should inform them through their toll free hotline or report to any nearest police station.
